The Worldcat brand, known worldwide for its fishing catamarans, has just presented the 2025 edition of the 235 TE, a boat aimed at family fishermen.
The new Worldcat 235 TE is the tournament (TE) version of the 235 CC. The newcomer measures 23 feet and is primarily intended for fishing in bays, inland waters or near shore.
The 235 TE has a layout built around a central console, protected (on request) by an eye-catching T-Top. The Worldcat also has two separate cockpits for fishing with friends or family.
Naturally, the Worldcat takes advantage of its catamaran design to offer more space on board (about 35% more than a traditional open hull). The slightly higher hull height compared to the previous version allows for a deeper deck. It is not only safer, but also more convenient for fishing. The two cockpits offer plenty of space.
Designed for fishing
The cockpit is quite complete and well protected by the windshield and side windows. A sloped seat provides a comfortable riding position and features four rod holders in the rear. An Igloo refrigerator is also located under the seat.
The 235 TE benefits from fish tanks in the floor and numerous lockers at the front, on the transom or in the floor. The 30-gallon livewell is housed in the center of the transom. A good position so as not to obstruct the passage to the rear platform. Here, between the two engines, there is also a large swimming ladder.
The boat comes with lots of nice accessories, including a bait container, rod holders on the side of the console, and a rear shower for rinsing off.
Options include a deluxe GEMLUX swing system with 18-foot folding hybrid poles.
Up to 300 HP
Comfort has not been forgotten: there are two rear seats, another in the bow and two folding benches in front. Another positive point, the inside of the console is large enough to accommodate a chemical toilet.
As for the technical aspect, this 2025 edition accepts up to 300 hp and has two 60-gallon fuel tanks, enough to go fishing quite far.
