The Milanese design studio, Nauta Design, patents the concept that increases the aft surface and extends it towards the sea Nauta Design has taken a step forward in enhancing its research by patenting the The Island concept. A real extensible "stern beach", which widens the enjoyable surface of a boat thanks to bulwarks and folding doors. The space that is created, developed on the three sides of the aft section, is given by the insertion of a connection between the side terraces, which open onto the sea at the level of the beach club, and the collapsible sides, which actually extend the 'area. The result is a seamless open-air room between the yacht's interior, exterior and sea. The owner and his guests can thus move freely from one side of the boat to the other, without physical or visual interruptions. The “stern beach” concept! Mario Pedol, co-founder with Massimo Gino of Nauta Design, exhibits the stern beach concept, highlighting that more than doubling the space available at the stern of Nauta Design boats is obtained (+ 79% for the Dune 75, + 61% for the Wave 85, + 70% for the Slipstream 78 and even + 95% for the Air 96).
