The zero-emission cruise ship was commissioned by Wuxi Saisiyi Electric Technology and was also financed with public money. It will be used on a tourist route already regularly traveled by traditional boats that runs along the stretch of the Yangtze River between the cities of Yichang and Chongqing which connects two dams and flows between three spectacular gorges. ’i boat has

a 7.5 MWh battery, a capacity equivalent to that of over 100 electric cars with a good range, to understand. It has over 10,000 cells and is of the LFP (lithium iron phosphate) type. It has no cobalt, therefore, like the battery that the cine giant if it supplies to Tesla.
