Here is who the most exclusive yachts of this summer 2022 of the Italian jet set belong to:
The Main by Giorgio Armani
Giorgio Armani's boat, a 65 meter long mansion, was launched in 2008 at a price close to 40 million euros. From the outside, the Main appears simple (however simple such a boat can be) and minimalist; note the effect of the vehicle's color: at first glance, perhaps in a shaded area, it may appear black, but in reality, as soon as the boat is hit by the sun's rays, its natural color can be seen: a green metallized petroleum.
The interiors, on the other hand, are dark and classy, the designer has actively collaborated in the realization of these. The main feature is the dark furniture and extensive use of materials such as steel and teak; the lighting, on the other hand, is ensured by the windows that make up the sides of the yacht. In addition, the boat houses 6 guest cabins, a master cabin and 8 cabins for equipment.
And speaking of performance, the Main is capable of traveling at a speed of 17 knots, thanks to the 2 caterpillar engines that provide a power of 2482 HP.
The Queen of Italy by Dolce & Gabbana
In second place the designer duo Dolce & Gabbana. An expense of 50 million euros for the construction of a marine giant measuring 65 meters in size, a remake of the old Queen of Italy that always belonged to the two and built back in 2006, then the dimensions were small. The new Queen of Italy stands out for its size, design and technologies; with interiors created by the M2 Atelier studio in Milan, it is a structure made up almost entirely of steel and aluminum, which contains: 5 decks in all, 2 owner's suites, 4 guest cabins, gymnasium and a 5 by 2 meter swimming pool.
the Queen of Italy has 2 caterpillar engines that guarantee 2448 HP and, just like the Main, the boat of the two designers reaches a speed of 17 knots. The most characteristic aspect of this yacht, however, concerns sustainability, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana in fact insisted a lot on this aspect and the boat has: a water treatment plant, a sewage treatment plant, a cell refrigerated for waste and biodegradable oil in the cases of the axles and in the shady rudders.
The Freedom by Roberto Cavalli
Another yacht and another well-known face of Italian fashion. On the podium also Roberto Cavalli and his sportsman Freedom. An aggressive and total black look for the Florentine designer's boat; the Freedom certainly does not stand out in size, in fact the length is reduced precisely to allow Cavalli himself to juggle driving his own toy, but rather in its appearance almost like a sports car, a supercar, a batmobile. The project was carried out by Cerri Cantieri Navali, and replaces the old iconic RC.
The interiors reflect the style of the bodywork of this extra-luxury yacht: leopard-print fabrics and finishes, gold-colored furniture, statues and art objects and dark walls adorn the rooms that are completely innovative in terms of position and composition.
