For the 23rd consecutive year, the Italian group Azimut Benetti leads the Global Order Book world ranking for manufacturers of boats over 24 metres. Drawn up by the prestigious Boat International magazine on the basis of the order books of 189 shipyards around the world, the ranking sees many Italian shipyards in the top positions, confirming the leadership of an entire national sector on markets around the world!

As regards the general trend of the sector worldwide, the analysis shows that the superyacht industry continues to have good growth margins, with a record number of boats ordered or already under construction. There are 1,203 projects in development, with an increase of 17.5% compared to 1,024 last year. The increase appears even more significant if one bears in mind that in 2007 the number was 777 projects
