Speaking of Riva, the top management of the Ferretti Group leaked backstage at the Dubai Boat Show that the Riva 54, the new flagship of the historic brand that has already been ordered by a Kuwaiti owner, will be launched by 2025 . It will be a 54-metre mega yacht, 4 more than Piero Ferrari's Riva Race, from which it will be distinguished by a more daring, streamlined and sporty style. However, this does not mean that the new Riva 54 will betray its vocation for long crossings in displacement mode, with a maximum speed not exceeding 18 knots (according to the first provisional data).

Under construction in the Riva Superyachts Division in Ancona, the new boat is the result of the collaboration between Officina Italiana Design, the studio founded by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, the product strategic committee chaired by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering department. The material chosen for the construction is aluminium. As for the design, the first widespread rendering (in the photo) indicates a certain continuity with the unique style that distinguishes all Riva models and allows us to glimpse the unmistakable stylistic features that have characterized the production of recent years, such as the typical curvature of the windows and the use chiaroscuro to create plays of light and matter.

Well in advance of the 2025 launch, it was also revealed that the Riva 54 will welcome guests in large and generous outdoor spaces of almost 370 square meters, with a beach area that promises never-so-exciting contact with the sea, in full relaxation and privacy. Another spearhead will be an exceptional wellness area, made up of an area used as a gym, a spa and a swimming pool. Engines, range, number of cabins and berths for the owner, his guests and crew are all to be discovered.
