The mega yacht inspired by American aircraft carriers is Italian: 140 metres, 9 decks, two helipads and a submarine for tenders.
It looks like an American aircraft carrier, but it is a yacht, or rather a 140-metre long mega yacht, destined – in the intentions of the designer – to become the most important representative vessel of the United Arab Emirates, the real flagship of the state. The project was in fact financed by a sheik (whose identity is unknown) at the Milanese studio of designer Enzo Manca, one of the most creative and nonconformist Italian nautical designers.
Called Uae One , the futuristic project required two years of work, during which the dimensions, shapes and fittings were defined, but the choices for the engine have not yet been communicated, and consequently it is not yet possible to predict the performance. However, it is foreseeable that it will be a displacement ship capable of ensuring good performance, just like the aircraft carriers that inspire it.
What makes this pleasure supership truly unique are the 9 decks spread over an area of 2,800 square meters and a height of 40 metres. The exterior is distinguished by the original bow lines, the upper deck, the tower, the availability of two helipads and an internal mini-port intended for tenders and a submarine.
On the large circular deck, features such as the 18-metre swimming pool arranged transversally thanks to the ship's 28-metre beam stand out. A huge circular sofa in the bow area is designed around a central fireplace and allows guests to admire the 360-degree panorama in total relaxation. For further comfort the lounge areas are expertly shaded. A wellness center and a spa are also planned, for the benefit of the pleasure of living a dream vacation on board.
Not even the first renderings of the interior fittings have been provided for now, however the Manca studio has anticipated that the environments can include different configurations including an owner's suite, 8 owner's cabins and 14 mini-suites. The project also includes three meeting rooms and a press area. In fact, maximum attention is paid to the aspect of privacy and to the provision of spaces dedicated to international meetings, as well as business meetings and private meetings. For the crew, estimated at 65 people, 35 cabins are planned.
