Here is “Big Fisher”, the largest fishing boat in the world from Royal Huisman

Guided by experience and the search for innovation, the historic Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman has accepted a Guinness World Record challenge. We are talking about the construction of Project 406, the largest fishing boat in the world. In addition to a portfolio of over thirty sailing yachts, Royal Huisman is increasingly seen as the reference shipyard for large motor yacht projects.
Project 406, or if you prefer “Big Fisher“, is a 52 meter long sports yacht with an Alustar aluminum hull and a towering profile of six decks, of which we can already see the results. The boat has already completed the first phase of work at the headquarters in Vollenhove, the Netherlands, and is ready for the installation of the upper deck, hardtop and radar mast.
A BOAT OUT OF THE MUNICIPALITY
Big Fisher is a unique boat in many respects, one of which is versatility. Thanks to its extension, the boat can be used both for high-end sport fishing and for living aboard an ultra-luxury yacht. The interior and exterior design is the work of the famous Vripack Yacht Design Studio, which wanted to leave an extremely distinctive trait. You immediately notice the elongated bow and the high sides, typical of a fishing boat, which extend up to a low and tidy cockpit at the stern. Furthermore, the sky lounge on the upper deck offers an exceptional view with an angle also useful for specialized fishing.
INNOVATION AND TRADITION
In addition to her record-breaking size, the Big Fisher is, without a doubt, the most luxurious true sportfish yacht ever, being equipped with all the comforts expected of a superyacht. After all, Royal Huisman is considered one of the few shipyards capable of creating such an individual and tailor-made motoryacht project. The boat was designed and built by the shipyard's team, made up of over 350 highly qualified experts and co-producers. Testing of most on-board systems and other innovative technical installations is currently being completed, ahead of final transportation, upcoming launch and trials.
