Sea World Ship MGG always keeps you updated on nautical events on the French Riviera. Today we present to you some upcoming dates, we are talking about March 2024, useful for making the pleasure boating industry increasingly ethical.
First UBS Cup-Trophy (7-10 March)
The best international J/70 crews will meet for the continuation of the Monaco Sportsboat Winter Series, Act 3 (8-11 February). Over the past eleven years, this monthly regatta series has become an unmissable event on the winter calendar. To conclude the winter season, the J/70 will meet one last time in Act 4 (March 7-10). The second Women Leading and Sailing Trophy will follow (15-17 March), an all-female event dedicated to the J/70s, organized in collaboration with the Monegasque and French sailing federations.
Monaco Ocean Week (18-22 March)
During the Monaco Ocean Week, organized by the Prince Albert II Foundation together with the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco and the Center Scientifique de Monaco, the Yacht Club was entrusted with the nautical part of the week, dedicated to the protection of the oceans.
On Thursday, March 21, the YCM will host a series of three events, starting with the 13th Environmental Symposium. After the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous, organized in September by M3 (Monaco Marina Management), the YCM will host the 2nd Monaco Smart Yacht Rendezvous on 21 and 22 March.
This networking event aims to make the recreational boating industry more ethical by encouraging the exchange of ideas and introducing innovations for a more sustainable industry. The event will conclude with the presentation of the Smart Innovative Yacht Awards.
Thursday 21 March will end with the presentation of the 4th YCM Explorer Awards by La Belle Classe Superyachts. Organized under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II, since 2018 this ceremony has rewarded shipowners who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to the preservation of the marine environment, both in the design of their yachts and in their navigation.
