The largest sailing ship in the world, branded Orient Express Silenseas, arrives 140 years after the first luxury trips on the iconic train that inspired novels, films and music. Orient Express Silenseas 220 meters long with a tonnage of 22,300 UMS, Orient Express Silenseas will feature 54 suites averaging 70 square meters, including a monumental 1,415 square meter presidential suite (including a 530 square meter private terrace suite), two swimming pools, one of which is Olympic, two restaurants and a speakeasy bar.
The new Orient Express Silenseas sailing yacht, already in the planning stage since 2018, will be 220 meters long and will offer guests 54 suites of approximately 70 square meters and also a presidential suite of 1,415 square meters. In addition, the sailing ship will be equipped with a revolutionary 1,500 square meter wind propulsion system, combined with a hybrid propulsion system powered by liquefied natural gas, which will make the vessel a model for environmentally friendly navigation.
