Sardinia Nautical Fair is preparing to launch its second edition from 21 to 25 April in Marina di Porto Rotondo.

Porto Rotondo enjoys international fame for the quality of the landing place and the village that hosts it, where there are restaurants, bars and shops, as well as museum and theater areas, which will be the ideal setting for visitors and exhibitors of the second edition of the Sardinia Nautical Fair.

The second edition of the event supported by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia - Department of Tourism, Crafts and Commerce, organized for the second time by CIPNES - Gallura, starts from the important results obtained with the first edition in 2022, where there was a presence of almost 100 operators with as many quality new and used boats.

Cipnes Gallura is the provincial industrial consortium of Olbia, founded in 1963 as the Nucleus for the industrialization of Olbia. The industrial area of his competence extends for 700 hectares, with his actions he has favored the arrival of new investments and supported the strengthening of the companies present. Among the objectives of CIPNES is the creation of the nautical district in Olbia, to facilitate the development of the production and marketing of products and services for the nautical sector. Furthermore, the same body is also the promoter of the Special Economic Zone (ZES) of Olbia, having 150 hectares in the ZES area in its production district. Other projects managed by CIPNES concern the hub for technological innovation, the territorial development agency, the promotion of agrifood and tourist areas of Sardinia with Insula.

For the second edition of the Sardinia Nautical Fair, more than 130 operators are expected who will offer over 150 boats, services and nautical products, in this event dedicated to boating in all its meanings. During the days of the fair, visitors will be able to admire the boats produced by the most prestigious national and international shipyards, used boats proposed by operators in the brokerage sector and charter agencies, nautical accessories by leading international brands, technical, financial and insurance services stands. Among the innovations introduced for 2023, Fiera Nautica di Sardegna has dedicated an area to "green" boating, where visitors will be able to get in touch and try out the increasingly numerous proposals in the electric boat segment at sea, as well as be able to deal with operators engaged in the development of solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact of boating. A choice that aims to facilitate public contact with electric boats and their manufacturers, with sea trials available every day of the show, thanks to which it is possible to evaluate the state of the art of development in this segment and discover that also in terms of costs, electric boating is now increasingly comparable to the traditional one. Naturally this applies to smaller boats, but it represents a starting point that should be considered for the future.

Among the constants of Fiera Nautica di Sardegna stands out the Insula Project "Sardinia Discovery Journey) of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and managed by CIPNES - Gallura. Exhibitors and guests will also be able to attend shows, concerts, fashion shows, cooking shows and visit the stands dedicated to Sardinian food and wine excellence in a dedicated area.

The three elements that characterized the first edition and which will also be repeated in future ones remain unchanged, therefore boats, accessories and everything that revolves around boating, thematic conferences and the presence of the Insula "Sardinia Discovery Journey" project.

Meetings and conferences are foreseen thanks to which insiders will be able to discuss and make their experiences known, just as it will be possible to address the hot topics of pleasure boating with the support of Universities, sector associations and professionals, to make the point on the development of the sector, on the ecological attention of builders and yachtsmen to make the activity at sea more and more respectful of the environment, of sport and training.
During the fair, Marina di Porto Rotondo will offer the public and exhibitors all the services necessary to guarantee them hospitality, therefore, hotels, accommodation facilities such as B&Bs, restaurants and bars will already be fully operational and ready to welcome enthusiasts who in those days will enliven the docks of the seaside village of Porto Rotondo.

Among the activities that will come to life in Porto Rotondo during the days of the fair, there are also two important sporting events organized by the Porto Rotondo Yacht Club: the sport fishing competition called "TheO'" in the specialty "Live Bite Trolling" from 21 to 23 April, the regatta of J24 of the Zonal Championship on the 22nd and 23rd. Two events that will certainly enliven the fair days and the Porto Rotondo docks, capable of enriching the rich schedule created by the Yacht Club, the Porto Rotondo Consortium and the Fair events Sardinian boating.

The trade fair event is deeply felt by operators on the island but also by national and foreign manufacturing companies, the market generated in Sardinia with their products is very important in numerical terms and this stimulates the interest of the entire sector. For this reason, in Porto Rotondo visitors will find many proposals for new boats and latest generation accessories, displayed directly by the parent companies or with the support of the local sales network.
