During the Palm Beach International Boat Show, Azimut unveiled its new flagship: the Low Emission Yacht Grande 44M. It is the largest model ever built by the shipyard that aims to combine technological innovation, visionary design, and a focus on environmental sustainability. The boat surprises with something that is not available today: a superyacht with reduced CO2 emissions that features a design across four decks – rather than the traditional three – with fluid and bold lines that wrap around and sculpt significant volumes. The emblem? The Upper Deck can be transformed into an owner's deck with rooms offering uninterrupted sea views both aft and forward.
The concept is the keystone of stylistic innovation: the choice to move the helm to the fourth deck frees up the Upper Deck, turning it into an Owner's Deck with a master suite and a private terrace overlooking the horizon. Aft, the Grande 44M reintroduces the Mezzanine Deck with Sea View Terrace that marked the success of the Grande Trideck. On the Grande 44M, this stage on the sea is made even more unique by the See Through Pool that plays with transparencies to maintain contact with the water and create caustic effects that make the beach club even more magical.
A new layout that allowed the m²atelier architecture studio – in its first collaboration with Azimut – to create an interior design that balances functionality and aesthetics to focus on the owner's experience and offer versatile spaces to be configured based on the owner's desires and how they like to spend time with family and friends.
As such, the bow area of the upper deck of the Grande 44M can be set up as a media room for guests or for the owner's private use, or as a veranda dining area accommodating up to 12 people. In both cases, nearly two-meter glass windows on each side allow the gaze to roam freely outside, where the forward lounge is located, which, thanks to the small firepit, is an intimate space from which to watch the sun set over the water.
