This 250-foot vessel was designed by E. Kevin Sch \ u00f6pfer, founder and owner of his namesake company.
Designed to accommodate 14 guests in extraordinary comfort and style, Oculus is a long-distance cruising yacht capable of speeds up to 21 knots.
The external style is representative of the bone structure of the jaw and ocular orbit of large ocean fish and mammals . Featuring a spectacular reverse bow configuration, the yacht's armor balances an elegant expression of symmetry and structure.
In addition to the bow, Oculus also features a & quot; low rider profile & quot ;. This slightly lowered surface allows for new side recreation areas, alternative dock access and a light cruise opening. Side retractable side panels close this area when heavier wave action is indicated.
Oculus interior features focus on a 12-foot-high ceiling in the main saloon, a double-height cylindrical dining room, central staircase and elevator tube, and seemingly anatomical ceiling and floor extensions that give definition to the seating areas. The second level is the dedicated owner's suite.
The living areas and bedrooms are divided by a series of four independent pipes, which house the bathroom and storage needs.
In addition to the main common staircase, the second owner's staircase connects to the private aft saloon on the third level and to the deck / water function. The third level also contains the forward cockpit and separate captain's quarters.
Generous open decks with separate water features are located fore and aft for convenient guest use. What do you think?.
